THE SYSTEM

ONE SLAB. TWO PANELS.

A thick natural slab is reinforced on both sides, pressed into a single sandwich and split through the middle. What comes out is two lightweight stone panels instead of one heavy slab.

01 — BOND

Bond

Spydercore and reinforcement layers are applied to both faces of the slab.

02 — PRESS

press

Hercules presses the layers into one sandwich.

03 — SPLIT

Split

The Spyder splits the slab down the middle. Two slabs, each with its own stone, spydercore and backing.

Natural stone surface

The visible face. Real stone, split from the original slab by the Spyder. Shown here in white marble.

Reinforcement layer

Pre-integrated into the Spydercore panel. Shown for illustrative purposes only.

Aluminum honeycomb core

A hexagonal cell structure that keeps the panel light and rigid.

Backing layer

Part of the Spydercore panel assembly. Shown for illustrative purposes only.

WHY A HONEYCOMB CORE

LIGHT IN THE MIDDLE. STONE ON THE OUTSIDE.

LIGHT

Most of the core is air. The Spydercore adds thickness without adding much weight.

RIGID

Two faces separated by a core resist bending better than the same material alone. That is the sandwich principle.

EFFICIENT

One original slab becomes two stone surfaces, so every slab goes further.
